My first reflection

During my fall semester I want to create new ideas that will help me through the process of learning and doing homework while during the semester. I really want to improve with my reading skills too, I been doing it with the strategies that I got from the first paper from class. I want to have a plan while reading before exactly reading by looking over it before the reading and making sure I make questions so I can take notes and know what Im reading. Also highlight the main keys that will help me with the vocabulary and the main keys of the story.  I want to also have the ability to understand my reading because I really struggle on doing that because I like to just read and not be able to understand what Im reading and it also has to catch my eye. There’s a lot of reading strategies that will help me while reading but I really want to focus on finding the main keys , having good questions to help me support the story, read the questions that they have there, also be more focus on reading.

It was nice using strategies to help me focus better on reading and making it better to read. It was kinda hard because Im not use to using new things to help me read I use my regular strategies but while using the new strategies it help me a lot and it supported me. Examples that I made while reading was looking over the questions before reading and stopping to make a reflection. I want to keep learning new things and finding new ways to help my learning and get better at reading and helping others with my strategies.

During the readings I read and stop to make connections to the story and I took notes from different sections. I got to do my questions first and made connects to the story because it helps to comprehend what I am reading and help me predict what is going to go on.

The only thing that didn’t work was considering the environment and the space I was in because sometimes I can’t read in quiet places because I get distracted and this of something else. I was working better with music and with people talking quietly. I believe that me being with loud surroundings and music I work better reading.

I would like to keep trying all of them because it helps me to comprehend more and see different things and it helps me see the differences of each step that we use for reading. Start using them more and more each day and see the progress of the strategies day by day.

Learning to use it and doing different strategies of each part that we help me through the process.

To organize a club you need the right materials and the right things to put it out there and to make sure you are allowed to do it. First you need to list down everything that you want to put in your club and barnstorm. Then you look define the club purpose and goals and you can also look up what’s the background of your program and find clues on making it better. After you did that make sure your flyers are nocticeable and created so people can see and go look at it and spread the word. Then you hold your first club meeting and make sure when you do people know where the room is at and where to go. You talk about in group how and when events are going to happen and you can also assign duties to people so it can be much easier and more organized. Establish a budget and fundraise so you have money. Keep going and going until you’re club gets better.
