8/15 – Wisconsin Rapids Tribune – University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point head football coach Greg Breitbach (former football coach at Millersville ) announced that MU alum, Sean Dugan will serve as the defensive coordinator at Stevens Point. Dugan started 38-straight games over his four-year career with the Marauders from 2014-17. His senior season of 2017, he earned first-team all-conference honors and led the team in tackles, the second-most in the PSAC.

  • “Marauder soccer judged by PSAC – Men 5th, women 13th in polls.”
  • Grand jury report on priests in Pennsylvania included that the report also names at least nine other accused priests and church officials who served in Lancaster County at some point in their careers but did not appear to be the subject of allegations involving their time here. They include Francis Bach, who served as campus minister at Millersville University in 1971.

ASPHALT REPAIRS

 Description:

A contractor will be excavating and repaving deteriorated sections of asphalt in several campus parking lots this week.

Construction Timeframe:

 

Beginning Date: Tuesday, August 14, 2018            8:00 a.m.

Friday, August 17, 2018              5:00 p.m.

Ending Date:

Traffic, Parking and Building Impact:

 Work is planned to be as non-disruptive as possible. The following areas will be repaired and repaved:

Lyle Loading Dock

Four parking spaces in front of the University Grille

15′ x 100′ section of the driveway in front of the University Grille

20′ x 20′ section at the intersection of Cove Drive & Lyte Road

20′ x 20′ section in front of the Boyer Building 10′ x 10′ section behind Montgomery House
