We are excited to see a few ideas on the division idea board and want to keep the momentum rolling! Please support your teammates and share your ideas on the SAEM Ideation Station!
This platform was created by a small committee made up of members from BASE (Best Administrative Support Experts) with the objective of crowd sourcing ideas from the entire division because:
- We care what you think!
- We want everyone to have a voice.
- We know there are untapped ideas out there.
- We want to foster a strong sense of community and collaboration.
Our current campaigns include a charge for ideas about professional development, and a “catch-all” called Sticky Ideas to make sure we don’t miss any of your brilliance. Please be mindful when both submitting and voting for ideas that they should be A-B-C-D-E: Authentic, Beneficial, Creative, Doable, and EPPIIC! Campaigns will change periodically, but Sticky Ideas will remain constant.
When new campaigns are created, an email will go out to the entire division. If you have an idea for a new campaign, it can go in Sticky Ideas. Remember, that is designed to catch miscellaneous categories that may not be reflected in specific campaigns.
As with all things new, there may be twists, turns, and tweaks as we navigate the path of crowd sourcing ideation. Please be patient and remember the objective is to tap into the value of your ideas to make our Division and University the best they can be for all of us.
The platform can be accessed in the Division Team here: SAEM Ideation Station. Microsoft Teams will walk you through the permissions for the platform, so just follow the prompts to grant it access. To submit an idea, simply click the ‘submit an idea’ button and answer the questions. The questions are designed to help you think through your idea and to make sure we understand it as intended. Implemented ideas will be acknowledged within the Division and possibly even University-wide.
