New student summary:

Yield:

Although we secured enough applications for Fall 2020, the yield rate dropped significantly. Freshman yield dropped by 5.7% and transfer yield dropped by 5.9%. This is understandable given the pandemic; our goal for this year should be to bring that yield rate back over 26% (FR) and 60% (TR).

Academic programs:

Freshmen- Majors with significant increases include art, interactive and graphic design, history, and BUAD. Majors that declined include AEST, psychology, meteorology, speech communication and english (likely due to the new programs), language and culture studies and biology.

Transfer- Majors with significant increases include psychology and social work; programs that declined include speech communication, BUAD, and biology.

Transfer students:

45% of our transfer students came from HACC. The next most popular feeder was Temple (4%), RACC (2.7%), and West Chester and Penn State (each 2.5%).
