Org Outbreak Spring 2020

Org Outbreak Spring 2020
By: Jackie Aliotta, Coordinator, Student Organizations & Leadership

Organization Outbreak, commonly referred to as Org Outbreak, is the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership’s exciting beginning of semester tradition to help get Millersville University students more involved on campus and connected to University resources. This semester the event was held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Student Memorial Center.

Seventy two (72) of our student clubs and organizations, along with 15 University programs were in attendance to market themselves to our Millersville University students. The event was well attended and students really enjoyed themselves. The 67 students who checked into our event via the Mobile Event Check-In received CSIL headphones. We encouraged MU students in attendance to walk around, talk to at least four different student organizations, and get their “passports” stamped. We had 62 students participate in our raffle and we randomly selected three winners who received one Amazon TV Firestick and two Echo Dots. Thank you to everyone who worked the event or came by to visit.

This is an exciting MU tradition that we look forward to hosting every semester.
