In this activity we were tasked with exploring metal type and the purpose of them. We used them to make and stamp our names in different type sizes as well as type fonts. We then learned about the metal types and how they compare and differ to the online types we used in class to make our name tags as shown in the picture above. This taught us how to use the different fonts types and how can they express different meanings.
