Lou and his staff share a vision for the future of the Middletown Home, and that is to create a vibrant community where residents live a life without limitations. They want to build a team of staff that is so fully engaged in their service to others, that they are fulfilled personally, professionally and spiritually.
This strategic visioning is being actualized with the construct of a state of the art rehabilitation gym and a short term rehab unit for intensive post-acute care services. As part of the mission for lifelong learning, the Middletown Home plans to develop a Senior Scholastic Institute in partnership with Penn State Harrisburg, located just down the road. Longer term visioning and master planning on the campus includes independent living cottages, additional personal care apartment and a specialized memory unit for individuals with cognitive impairment.
With the vision and leadership of Lou as the CEO, along with the support from dedicated staff and skilled caregivers, this vision is being brought to life. The Middletown Home is well on its way to being Central Pennsylvania’s premiere retirement community and campus of wellness, rehabilitation and lifelong learning!
