SWAN: Scaling Walls a Note at a Time, aka SWAN 4 Kids, is a non-profit organization based in Lancaster, PA serving children affected by parental incarceration by providing free music lessons, performance opportunities, and mentoring. Donations allow SWAN to connect children with music teachers who will teach them how to play an instrument, read music, play in ensembles and serve their communities by performing for others. The impact of SWAN’s program is life-changing and dramatic as the disciplines of music help students improve in their academics and extracurricular lives.
