Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania

The Girl Scout mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. For over 100 years, Girl Scouts has been a leader in providing character-building programming for girls of all interests and backgrounds. No other organization provides girls with as many ways to learn and lead as today’s Girl Scouts. Through troops, outdoor experiences, workshops, residential and day camp, and digital engagement, girls learn valuable skills to help them make sound decisions both now and in the future. Girls also build self-esteem and leadership qualities, improve communication skills, and understand the impact they have on the world around them. No matter how girls choose to participate, they work with positive adult role models and gain specific knowledge, skills, values, and behaviors that will better equip them to assume leadership roles within their communities.
