Since 1961, DDS has been providing free services to people in Lebanon County with disabilities and learning delays. The mission of DDS is to empower children with developmental delays and persons with disabilities to lead more productive, satisfying and/or independent lives.
The Alley Family Center Preschool at DDS provides Early Intervention services to children, ages birth to five, with physical disabilities and developmental delays. DDS also provides Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy to children ages birth to five. The programs are provided in a home based atmosphere from ages birth to three and at the Alley Family Center for ages three to five. DDS also provides a job coaching program for adults with developmental delays and physical disabilities. The adult program provides the venue for clients to learn a job and obtain employment at local businesses.
