To help meet personal and family needs of all workers in the community by providing services and education that is responsive to the needs in the community. COMMUNITY SERVICES OF ORGANIZED LABOR (CSOL) Addressing the ever changing community needs in Lancaster City/County by providing worker oriented programs and services for the benefit of all residents and establishing and maintaining community service relationships between organized labor and the community at all levels. CSOL provides a helping hand for Lancaster City/County Workers in need RAPID RESPONSE CSOL is a participant in the Governor’s Rapid Response Team, involved in providing Human and Social Services information to workers when their workplaces experience downsizings and/or plant closings. CAREERLINK Our CareerLink Information Specialist is an integral part of the CareerLink, greeting workers and providing personal direction. Addressing worker needs through personal contact our Information Specialist provides re-employment information and directs transitioning workers to the help they need, assuring that workers utilize the CareerLink to their advantage.

ACCESSPOINT SERVICES CSOL also offers a CareerLink AccessPoint at our home base location at 675 Manor Street in Lancaster City. Our CSOL AccessPoint offers and promotes all the CareerLink Services including Job Search Capability, Resume Development etc., on a smaller and more personal scale. INFORMATION & REFERRAL A very important part of our agency, our Information & Referral services provide information to all workers in the community. We actively participate in a comprehensive network of social and human service agencies. The agency provides assistance in solving the problems today’s workers encounter in our changing economic environment, including issues related to Unemployment Compensation, Workers Compensation, Worker’s Rights and other general job related issues. We serve all workers, Union and Non-Union. We feel that without proper attention to jobs and employment related issues, Lancaster County’s social and human service needs would mushroom beyond belief.
