Community Central

We tend to focus on treating the symptoms of the problem: rehab for addiction; shelters to combat homelessness; food banks, clothing banks, and special funds to combat poverty.
All of these tools are useful; treating the symptoms is a necessary part of the path to health and wholeness. But treating the symptoms alone is insufficient, because the disease will continue to grow and wreak havoc. The only way to heal the patient for good is to treat the underlying condition.
