The Central Pennsylvania Literacy Council, Inc. was established in 1970 to help refugees learn to speak, read, and write English.
Over the years the Council’s mission has changed to reflect the needs of the current population. Although still working with immigrants and refugees, the Council recognizes and is committed to improving the literacy of all adults in Cumberland and Dauphin counties.
