The motivation behind our vision is to be the hands of Jesus. Jesus reached out to us in our time of need. His love compels us to reach out to others in their time of need. The monies raised enable the disaster relief clean-up and rebuilding work of Brethren Disaster Ministries to continue. We are motivated by the difference we can make in someone’s life who has lost possessions and perhaps loved ones.
We’ve been active in many disaster areas, including the folks affected by Hurricane Katrina, the earthquake in Haiti, hurricane in Puerto Rico, as well as many other smaller and more local disasters.
