Performs the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping and laundry departments in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility. Keeps the facility clean and safe, reporting any unsafe and or hazardous conditions, documenting said conditions in accordance with Life Safety, the Department of Health and any other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: Must have high school diploma or GED, must be a minimum of 18-years of age, and ability to speak, write, do arithmetic in English. Ability to work under time limits, adapt to change, be mentally alert and accurate in measurement, must be flexible, caring, and able to work well with team members, and ability to follow written and oral directions. Computer experience and knowledge of institutional/hospitality cleaning procedures is required.
