FULL JOB SUMMARY
The human resources assistant is responsible for supporting the HR team in scheduling and administrative logistics. The role has a focus on recruitment support but also includes broader HR team administrative support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment Scheduling and Logistics
Promote HOPE’s open positions and internships through posting roles on HOPE’s website as well as external job posting boards
Create efficient, organized, and nimble timelines for all recruitment processes
Manage all recruitment related scheduling including exploratory calls, phone interviews, face to face final interviews, and reference checks
Collaborate with other assistants across the organization to schedule interviews for executives
Serve as a warm, responsive, and professional representative of HOPE International to all prospective job candidates throughout their recruitment process
Facilitate all travel logistics for candidates’ trips to the HOPE International office for final interviews
Create and communicate final interview day itineraries
Host candidates warmly during their final interviews, ensuring that they feel at home, are comfortable, and have general questions answered
Ensure space and technology (Zoom, Teams) are prepared for face-to-face final interviews
Onboarding
Assist in the candidate-to-employee transition through scheduling onboarding activities that introduce new HOPE staff to HOPE culture, values, history, and job-related activities
Schedule and host quarterly new employee orientations and communicate details with new hires and their managers
Ensure technology is running properly for orientations
Other Responsibilities as Required
Support for benefits and compliance (stay up to date with i9 policies, i9 with new hires, promote wellness activities, assist with milestones)
Manage the human resources email account through responding to email inquiries and directing potential candidates to the correct recruiter
Schedule HR team meetings
Support planning and logistics for HR team events such as retreats
QUALIFICATIONS
Personal confession of Christian faith and commitment to the mission and vision of HOPE International
Highly attentive to detail
Demonstrates flexibility and thrives in an often-changing environment
Strong organizational skills, including effective time management and prioritization of competing demands/multiple deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and develop relationships with colleagues across the organization
Excellent project management skills
Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word, specifically) and ability to navigate and research online, and comfort with databases/software such as iCIMS and ADP
Bachelor’s degree preferred
