HOPE INTERNATIONAL
The HR coordinator is responsible for administrative support on the HR team and for facilitating HOPE’s internship and fellowship program. 65% of the role will be in an administrative support function including aspects of recruitment support such as scheduling, hosting, job posting, and other support needs for the team. 35% of the role will be management of the internship & fellowship program. This person will communicate and work with department leaders to recruit and fill internships and fellowships. He/she will manage and execute program details such as intern/fellow orientation, evaluations, and development opportunities. The goal is that HOPE’s interns and fellows experience spiritual formation, professional enrichment, and significant involvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote and fulfill the mission and vision of HOPE International
Recruitment Support
- Schedule domestic and international interviews
- In coordination with recruiters and HR assistant, create timelines for designated searches ensuring process efficiency
- Schedule reference and background checks
- Schedule complex interview days including coordination of interview dates and times with candidates and search committees, and booking interview rooms and phone lines
- Create and distribute interview day itineraries
- Handle interview day preparations, including booking travel, meals, and lodging, and communicating interview day details with candidates
- Host candidates warmly during their interview, ensuring candidates are in the right places, feel comfortable, and have general questions answered
- Facilitate lunch interviews, including ordering and setting up lunches
Internship & Fellowship Program Coordination
- Communicate with managers to set up budgets and create job descriptions for requested internships and fellowships
- Post job descriptions to HOPE’s website and promote program to colleges and universities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key connectors such as former interns, current and former development representatives, colleges and universities, and others to promote the program
- Collaborate with marketing department to post announcements on social media at key junctures in the search process
- Review all applicants and select candidates to continue in the interview process
- Work with hiring managers to select candidates for their roles
- Communicate with candidates regarding their status, ensuring that candidates feel valued and respected regardless of the outcome
- Assist with housing arrangements through local colleges or host homes.
- Manage intern program documentation
- Support and document travel logistics
- Send and track onboarding documents and waivers
- Develop and distribute welcome letter with all details regarding fundraising, transportation, expectations, and stipend
- Create and distribute intern/fellow directory
- Schedule and facilitate enrichment opportunities including orientation, recruiter/program alumni session, and leadership sessions
- Follow through with midterm evaluations, final evaluations, and exit survey
- Support interns, fellows, and their managers throughout the summer, ensuring an excellent experience

- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, including effective time management and prioritization of competing demands and various stakeholders
- High attention to detail
- Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word, specifically) and ability to navigate and research online, and comfort with navigating databases/software
- Flexibility and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Demonstrated passion and experience working with college students and/or young professionals preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
