Union Community Care & United Way of Lancaster County

Union Community Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Lancaster and Lebanon counties, and the United Way of Lancaster County are collaboratively seeking a contracted full-time Grant Writer and strategic partner in fund development. This position has secure funding for 12 months with the expectation the position will secure needed funds to become a permanent role, either contracted or employed after the initial 12-month period.

The United Way of Lancaster County and Union Community Care believe that together we can achieve even more progress in ensuring all members of our community are living healthy and thriving. The Grant Writer will be a key member of the joint team and focus on:

• Identifying grant opportunities

• Writing compelling and competitive grant applications

• Managing the grant development and proposal process

• Managing grant reporting/compliance, as indicated

The right fit for this role will possess a fierce commitment to equity, superb written communication skills, be able to work independently and as a team player and welcome the opportunity to manage numerous projects simultaneously.

Salary:

The Grant Writer will be employed via professional services contract, subject to all applicable regulations for a self-employed individual. The position will be funded to provide 40 hours of grant writing/fund development services per week for a 12-month period. The total contract amount for the 12-month period is $90,000. This position may be remote.
