Summary

Dauphin County Library System, a non-profit organization, is seeking a full-time Fundraising Coordinator who supports fundraising initiatives and aids in achieving fundraising goals. Maintains an accurate and up-to-date donor database and serves as liaison with database vendor. Plans, coordinates, and implements Dauphin County Library System’s (The Library) wide fundraising and donor related special events as part of the Community Relations team. Coordinates donor solicitation, tracking and recognition. Monitors the expenditure of donor-related programming budget. Maintains confidentially of administrative matters.

Minimum Qualifications

Associates Degree in Communication, Public Relations or related field, or 3 years of donor relations experience. • Experience negotiating and in planning and implementing public events and programs. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet applications and database software. Experience working with donors and donor related correspondence preferred. • Independent transportation for travel to libraries, programs and outreach locations. • Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills. • Requires independent transportation for travel to libraries, programs, and outreach locations. • Donor relations database and website content management system experience preferred. • Ability to move 35 lbs. unassisted to place materials on high and low shelves.

Rate of Pay

Salary: $39,000, negotiable and benefits package

Schedule

Full Time/Year Round Position, 37.5 hours per week.
