Meets the nutritional and therapeutic needs of all residents; provides palatable and attractive meals to residents. In addition, requires a broad knowledge of the facts, principles and procedures involved in the selection, purchase, preservation and serving of food; to meet the regulations pertaining to food production, distribution and infection control. Handles and serves food in accordance with sanitary regulations, State Department of Health, County Department of Health, and Department of Public Welfare.
Qualifications: Ability to speak, write, do arithmetic in English at a minimum 8th-grade level. Must be 18 years of age or older or 16-year-old with documented student work papers, ability to work under time limits, adapt to change, be mentally alert and accurate in measurement, must be flexible, caring, and able to work well with team members.
Eligible for excellent benefits beginning the first of the month after completing 30 days of employment.
