Assists residents and nursing staff by providing supporting housekeeping, activity, bathing needs and personal hygiene of residents daily. Performs housekeeping duties including making beds, vacuuming, sweeping, window, wall and ceiling cleanings. Immediately reports hazardous conditions or equipment, provides daily activity and engages residents to participate in daily activity and provide social interaction, escort/or assist in transportation,
Qualifications: Must have high school diploma or GED, and active certification as a nurse aide in Pennsylvania. Ability to speak, write, do arithmetic in English. Ability to work under time limits, adapt to change, be mentally alert and accurate in measurement, must be flexible, caring, and able to work well with team members. Completion of, or ability to successfully complete Direct Care Staff Person Training Course and Competency Test, must meet requirements of the Older Adult Protective Services Act (OAPSA)
Compensation Eligibility: Eligible for 3rd-shift and weekend differentials.
