History: From 1982 – 2019, we operated the Ephrata Re-Uzit Shop, located in historic downtown Ephrata at 20 East Main Street. The downtown store sold quality clothing, housewares, and many other small items at affordable prices. Ephrata Re-Uzit Furniture & Books (once located at 1054 S. State Street in Ephrata) was in operation at that location from 2002 – 2019. The Furniture & Books store sold used furniture and appliances as well as many other large items and many, many used books. Booksavers of Ephrata is a division of Ephrata ReUzit that collects books from schools and libraries and resells them online, recycling all that cannot be sold. Booksavers began in 1997.
In summer of 2019, we completed a new building where all three of our previous divisions– Ephrata Re-Uzit Shop, Ephrata Re-Uzit Furniture & Books, and Booksavers of Ephrata — will be housed.
