The purposes of the Elizabethtown Historical Society are: to encourage the study of historical subjects; to promote an understanding of the historical heriatge of the Elizaebethtown area; to gather, compile, and make available historical documents, artifacts and information related to the area; and to work to preserve historical buildings.
