The Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania (CILCP) is a nonprofit, nonresidential organization established for and by people with disabilities, dedicated to assisting people with disabilities to achieve and maintain independent life styles.

The CILCP’s mission is to eliminate and prevent barriers that people with disabilities experience by providing ongoing advocacy and offering innovative programs for people with disabilities to live well.

CILCP offers ADA technical assistance, home assessments & modifications, nursing home transition, skills training, advocacy, peer counseling, youth transition and deafblind services all with the Independent Living philosophy as the heart of each service. This philosophy simply affirms that all persons with disabilities have the right to choose and fully participate in all aspects of society.
