Thank you to Chad Barger of Productive Fundraising for sharing this article! Follow him on twitter @FundraiserChad
Drawing from tested, proven approaches learned by fundraisers through the years, he’ll show you how these things will help bring in more donations, and improve overall donor retention:
- Put it in an envelope.
- Put on that envelope the phrase “NEWSLETTER ENCLOSED” (or something similar).
- Give your readers the Gift of Joy — make them happy they gave to you and happy they’re reading this newsletter.
- Write powerful headlines.
- Use strong photographs.
- Stay away from statistics. Tell stories!
Do these things! Watch the results.
You’ll be glad you did.
