United Way of Lancaster County is seeking nonprofit organizations to apply for a grant to overcome vaccine hesitancy and inequity in Lancaster County. This unique grant award focuses on residents within the 17602 and 17603 zip codes by hosting community vaccination events.
LIVE PA is a collaboration between the Commonwealth’s Office of Advocacy and Reform, Departments of Health and Human Services, United Way of Pennsylvania, and local United Ways to ensure the underserved population receive the vaccination throughout the Commonwealth. Grant awards are based on the estimated vaccinations per event (nonprofit receives $10 per shot). Grant awards range between $200 – $20,000.
