The safety engineering unit’s project consisted of attempting to move a large amount of corn kernels from one container to another without letting any part of the body enter into the circle around the kernels. The task was completed by attaching two wooden beams together with tape . This was then repeated to have two beams. Tape was then placed on the end of both then used to pick up the container. This was completed extremely quickly with no kernels lost.
The project was very interesting to me and allowed me to efficiently work with my teammates to find a quick and efficient way to transport the kernels to the desired location. The simplicity of the project paired with the fun creative solutions made allowed for a project that allowed for a fun project.
