Millersville Offers Services to Veterans
Veterans Day takes place on November 11, a day that honors military veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces. There are currently 143 veterans and 274 total GI Bill recipients, including the dependents or spouses/widows of veterans, attending Millersville University (MU). MU has a Veterans Resource Center (VRC) that helps to provide resources and a home to student veterans.
On Monday, Oct. 15, an event was held to mark the groundbreaking of an innovative Head Start STEM classroom in Bard Hall.
The Millersville Community-University Parade is looking for volunteers for Oct. 13. The Parade operations have dozens of positions available, including banner carriers, division assistants, inflatable costume characters, street corner crew and so much more.
