What’s it like being a freshman at the ‘Ville? The transition from high school to college is an exciting time for students, but it can also be challenging. Freshmen not only need to adjust to college-level coursework, but they are also focused on “finding their fit” at Millersville University (MU) through joining student organizations and sport teams, and making new friends.
Did you know that there are robots on campus? 🤖 <br /> <br /> @hecmaryscintron first learned about #robotics as a high school student at @mccaskeyhighschool through a program here at MU’s Applied Engineering, Safety & Technology Department (@aest.millersville) that provided internships through the Lititz-based robotics integrator Precision Cobotics, LLC.<br /> <br /> These high school internships give students access to mentorship from college students, faculty members, and industry professionals along with hands-on experience with cutting-edge robotics technology. They even do work for real clients! <br /> <br /> That program - Robotic WorX – was made possible by a partnership between Precision Cobotics, LLC and grant funding from the Lancaster County STEM Alliance.
