Brooke Shimer is the recipient of the Phi Kappa Phi Love of Learning award, a national honors award.
ODK is one of the top four honor societies in the country and has chapters, known as circles, at over 300 college campuses across the country.
Did you know that there are robots on campus? 🤖 <br /> <br /> @hecmaryscintron first learned about #robotics as a high school student at @mccaskeyhighschool through a program here at MU’s Applied Engineering, Safety & Technology Department (@aest.millersville) that provided internships through the Lititz-based robotics integrator Precision Cobotics, LLC.<br /> <br /> These high school internships give students access to mentorship from college students, faculty members, and industry professionals along with hands-on experience with cutting-edge robotics technology. They even do work for real clients! <br /> <br /> That program - Robotic WorX – was made possible by a partnership between Precision Cobotics, LLC and grant funding from the Lancaster County STEM Alliance.
