Get a sneak peek at the newly renovated Samuel N. and Dena M. Lombardo Hall (formerly Brooks Hall) which is now home to the Lombardo College of Business.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony honoring donors Dr. Samuel and Dena Lombardo marked the grand opening of the building. The longtime supporters of the University made a historic $5 million gift to transform Brooks Hall, the former athletic venue for the campus, into a new home for the Lombardo College of Business. Established in 2020 thanks to another gift by the Lombardos, Lombardo is the University’s first named college.

The ceremony was held in Innovations Court, the original location of the basketball court, which is now an open, flexible space to host events like job and career fairs and community presentations. After remarks, faculty and staff from the Lombardo College of Business conducted tours of the facility, which includes flexible classroom and instructional spaces, faculty and staff offices, conference rooms and student study areas. The building will also include a business lab, incubator space, student lounge and a Brooks Hall Museum.
