While the holidays may be over, the festive spirit of music lives on year-round at Millersville University. After hosting its Glorious Sounds of the Season concert last December, the Tell School of Music at the University is now recognizing this year’s recipients of the Glorious Sounds of the Season scholarship.
The GSS scholars are primarily first-year students, and all the recipients were nominated and voted on by faculty members. The scholars are encouraged to use the scholarship to aid in their college expenses at their discretion.
The scholars are chosen based on certain criteria, such as their musical and academic work. Additionally, their participation exceeds expectations, and the scholars express a strong work ethic and contribute much of their time and talents to the Tell School of Music.
