Are you looking for a fun way to connect with current students and give back to your alma mater? Become an Alumni Mentor! By volunteering as a mentor, you’ll be matched with a student based on similar interests or backgrounds. You’ll help your mentee learn what to expect in school, how to approach challenges, dole out career advice and give them valuable insights into life post-college. 

Mentors can make a real difference in the lives of students and help contribute to their success. Once you are matched with a mentee, you can decide how and how often you want to connect, which can happen via email, phone, video chat, text, or in-person. Even a little bit of time can make a huge impact. 

If you decide to sign up, you’ll be directed to create a profile and fill out a brief survey that will be used to match you with your mentee. The online platform, administered by the Mentor Collective, will share information with you about how to best use each platform and will support you as you start and sustain your mentorship. Contact the Mentorship Office or Mentor Collective directly if you have any questions.
