Millersville Creates Emergency Fund for Students Impacted By Coronavirus

The EPPIIC Student Compassion Fund supports the most vulnerable and affected students at Millersville.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has created unprecedented challenges for all members of the Millersville University (MU) community—most importantly our students who have had to transition to online learning for the remainder of the semester. All of this change has created an immediate need to assist students with difficult personal circumstances. The EPPIIC Student Compassion Fund was formed to aid these students.

The majority of students have moved home for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester and will be completing their coursework online. However, some students are facing temporary displacement from their homes across the country and internationally, or are facing homelessness. These students have remained on campus, and there is an urgent need to equip these students with resources including food, toiletries and access to the required resources to complete their classes remotely.

While this is an immediate need, the EPPIIC Student Compassion Fund may also be used to assist students who face other hardships as the situation develops.
