Lancaster County Community Leader Joined MU on July 8, 2019.

Millersville University recently announced the appointment of Victor E. Ramos as Vice President for Advancement as of July 8, 2019.

“Mr. Ramos is an accomplished higher education administrator with over 25 years of higher education experience focusing on development and alumni engagement,” said Dr. Daniel Wubah, President of Millersville University.

“Additionally,” Dr. Wubah continued, “Victor’s extraordinary involvement in the Lancaster community will be an asset to our students, alumni, faculty and staff.  Mr. Ramos serves on the boards of the United Way of Lancaster County, Leadership Lancaster and La Academia Charter School.”

Leading the Advancement Division staff, Ramos will be responsible for strengthening relations with the University’s alumni, donors, community members and campus leaders. He will also guide our current fundraising campaign, Imagine the Possible, to its successful conclusion.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to join the staff at the state’s premier, public liberal arts institution,” said Ramos. “With the opportunity to direct the University’s community facing team, our Division will play an even greater role in raising private support to ensure student success.”

“To build on Millersville University foundation of excellence,” shared Ramos, “we will focus on engaging alumni and friends regionally and nationally to strengthen ties to the University and share our story of our impact to the workforce and our communities. I look forward to being a part of the ‘Ville and forwarding the University’s mission and values.”

Ramos previously served as campus vice president for HACC Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.  In this role he was responsible for strategic direction, overall operations of the Lancaster and Lebanon campuses and community engagement.  He holds a bachelor of science in finance and a master’s in business administration with a focus on public accounting from St. John’s University, New York.
