Updated: Lockey Lecture with Dr. Michael Eric Dyson

New speaker for Lockey Lecture

Due to a medical emergency, Dr. Christopher Emdin will not be available for tonight’s Lockey Lecture.

In his stead, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson will deliver the 30th annual Anna Funk Lockey Lecture in Education to our campus.

We invite you to join us for what will certainly be an engaging evening with this world class intellectual, noted author, prominent leader and national media fixture. Dyson is a Georgetown University sociology professor, New York Times contributing opinion writer and a contributing editor of The New Republic. His recent book, “Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America” is a widely praised New York Times bestseller.

The Lockey Lecture is set for the Winter Center, Clair Auditorium April 23 at 7 p.m.  A few tickets may still be available by contacting 717.871.7600.
