The 2019 Innovator in Residence is Noah Feckes

Interested in blogs, photography and social media?

With so many college students showing an interest in blogs, photography and social media, it’s only appropriate that this year’s Innovator in Residence, is food, travel and lifestyle photographer Noah Feckes. This year, he will be visiting campus twice and solely doing in-class visits. Feckes will also be judging the 60 Second Pitch competition.

Feckes visited in February and will be back in April with office hours in McComsey 266 on April 3 from 1 to 2 p.m.

Established by the late Drs. Jane Hannigan and Kay Vandergrift ‘62, the Innovator in Residence program exists to allow students to interact with unconventional innovators and entrepreneurs. These individuals work with students to help them discover how they can make a lasting impact on the world by using their unique talents.

As a host, Feckes has appeared with National Geographic Television for the documentary “Eat: The Story of Food”, and as a featured culinarian on the video series “Make Me a Sandwich.” He has been a featured speaker for The International Alliance of Culinary Professionals, The Food Book Fair, Parsons School of Design and The James Beard House. Feckes has authored two book; “The Way We Ate,” with Simon & Schuster and “Toast Water,” a collaboration with acclaimed food stylist Victoria Granof.
