Summer Moves
The opening this summer of the new Lombardo College of Business facility, Lombardo Hall, has led to moves for some campus offices.
- Faculty in the LCOB Department of Marketing, Management, and Information Technology and the Department of Accounting and Finance will move into Lombardo Hall in July/August.
- The Department of Government, Law, and International Relations in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences has moved from Fulton House to McComsey Hall.
- The Career Center has moved from Bedford House to McComsey Hall.
- The Center for Public Research and the Center for Civic Engagement have moved from Huntingdon House to McComsey Hall.
- Minor renovations are scheduled in McComsey Hall during July to accommodate moving the archaeology program out of Gerhart Hall by the end of July.
Other moves scheduled include:
- The Costume Shop has moved from Jefferson Hall to Lyle Hall.
- The Veterans and Military Resource Center has relocated from Mercer House to the third floor (Room 222) of Hash Building/Bassler Hall.
Program Changes
- Beginning Fall 2026, the M.Ed. in Art Education will evolve into an M.Ed. in Assessment, Curriculum, and Teaching with a concentration in Art Education.
- The Master of Arts in History and Master of Education in School Counseling are being offered online beginning Fall 2026.
- The Department of Mathematics and the Department of Physics have been combined into the Department of Mathematics and Physics.
- The Department of Earth Sciences and the Department of Geography have been combined into the Department of the Environment, Geosciences, and Emergency Management.
- The Department of Marketing and Management has been renamed the Department of Marketing, Management, and Information Technology.
- The Center for Civic Responsibility and Leadership has been renamed the Center for Civic Engagement.
- The Center for Public Scholarship and Social Change has been renamed the Center for Public Research.
