Three Millersville University alumni will receive “Central Penn Business Journal” Forty Under 40 awards at an October celebration in Harrisburg. The awards recognize the future leaders of Central Pennsylvania under the age of 40 who are achieving success in their careers and giving back in meaningful ways to the community.
Kaleb Koons ’12 earned a degree in economics from Millersville University. He currently serves as chief administrative officer of Spooky Nook Sports, having previously served as corporate director of human resources and human resources manager. He also served for three years as human resources coordinator at Hershey Entertainment.
Jared Mizrahi ’10 is an entrepreneur, real estate developer and owner of PCI Auction Group, the nation’s largest online restaurant equipment auction company. After graduating, he taught mathematics at J.P. McCaskey and Manheim Township High Schools while continuing to build his eBay businesses. Mizrahi’s entrepreneurial journey began at age 12 selling golf balls online, and in 2013 he decided to focus on PCI full time. Under his leadership, the company has expanded nationwide, earned a place on the Inc. 5000 list three times, and now handles thousands of restaurant liquidations annually while also helping manufacturers and wholesalers manage brand-new scratch-and-dent equipment, as well as becoming a go-to source for food truck and trailer auctions. He also owns and manages landmark community properties including the Lebanon Farmers Market and Place Marie Mall in Lancaster City, where he focuses on revitalization, vendor success and community engagement. He is recognized for his innovative approach to business and his commitment to building thriving communities in Pennsylvania.
Seth Weeber ’14 was born and raised in Lancaster County and graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School and Millersville University. He launched and managed his own aquatics company as a teenager. Through this experience – working closely with various clients – he connected with the hospitality industry when one of his hotel clients needed a recreation manager. Weeber stepped in and quickly realized that hospitality was where he belonged. He set a goal to become a hotel general manager by the age of 25 and achieved that a year early. Since then, he has worked for The Wankawala Organization, where he currently serves as a regional manager overseeing a portfolio of hotels across the Central Pennsylvania market. He is responsible for profitability, revenue generation, brand compliance, guest scores and operational efficiency. In his hometown of Ephrata, he is a voting board member and coach for the Ephrata Baseball Association. He is also a board member for Explore York, a convention and visitors bureau dedicated to strengthening tourism and economic growth throughout the region.
