School Is Out, Camp Is In

Summer Camps at Millersville University are in full swing.

Although Millersville University is relatively quiet over the summer without college students, over 25,000 people will be on campus over the warmer months to attend 27 camps and conferences. That includes K-12 students who will participate in a variety of camps, ranging in focus from STEM to soccer.

For children in grades three and up who are interested in pursuing their interests in science, technology, engineering and math, the Millersville Technology & Engineering Camps still have spots remaining. This year’s lineup includes camps on small gas engines, printing, video game design, woodworking, LEGO robotics, and more. Camps begin on July 7.

Beginning July 14, Millersville University Athletics will offer camps for K-12 student athletes, including full-day youth camps for baseball, basketball, football and more, all hosted at MU’s state-of-the-art facilities.

“It’s an honor to host so many camps and conferences on our beautiful campus each year,” says Michael Kurland, assistant director of conference services. “We look forward to meeting all of our guests and ensuring they have the best experiences that Millersville University has to offer.”

Prices vary by camp. For more information or to register a camper to attend, visit millersville.edu/summercamps.
