Vaccination Clinic at SMC

COVID Vaccinations and Boosters, Flu and more

On Wednesday, September 27, The Center for Disaster Research & Education at Millersville University, in conjunction with the South-Central Pennsylvania Medical Reserve Corps, will bring the Mobile VAX Clinic to campus. The vaccination clinic will be held in the Slabinski Atrium of the Student Memorial Center, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Millersville community is invited to the clinic, but you must bring your health insurance card. This will be the only opportunity for faculty/staff to get a flu shot on campus. The CDC says it is safe to get a COVID booster and flu shot on the same day.

The clinic will include vaccinations for:

  • New Moderna monovalent COVID XBB1.5-
  • New Pfizer monovalent COVID XBB1.5-
  • New Novavax monovalent COVID XBB1.5
  • Flu, regular strength
  • Shingles
  • Pneumonia – Prevnar 20
  • HPV- Gardasil
  • Meningitis B- Bexsero

In addition to the clinic on Sept. 27, Health Services will give free flu shots to University students throughout the month of October. The flu shots will not be available this year for faculty or staff.
