‘Ville’s Spring Commencement

There are 336 graduate students and 874 undergraduates eligible for spring commencement at Millersville.

More than 1,000 students will graduate from Millersville University this spring. There are 336 graduate students for the May 5 ceremony and 874 for the three undergraduate ceremonies on May 6. All four ceremonies will be held in Pucillo Gymnasium and will be live-streamed on the homepage and archived for future viewing. Doors open one hour prior to the ceremony for graduates and guests.

The schedule is as follows:

  • May 5 at 6 p.m.: College of Graduate Studies and Adult Learning
    Dr. Richard Clark, professor of meteorology, emeritus, will be the keynote.
  • May 6 at 9 a.m.: Undergraduate ceremony for the College of Education and Human Services
    Patrick Leahy ’97, the advisor for Government Affairs and Public Policy, U.S. Election Assistance Commission, will be the keynote.
  • May 6 at 1 p.m.: Undergraduate ceremony for the College of Science and Technology
    Armenta Washington ’85, Senior Research Coordinator of Penn Medicine, will be the keynote.
  • May 6 at 5 p.m.: Undergraduate ceremony for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences & Lombardo College of Business
    Joseph Garner ’90, Director of Research, Emerald Asset Management, will be the keynote.

An on-campus viewing site for the livestream will be available at the Winter Center for Visual and Performing Arts at 60 W. Cottage Avenue. This is an accessible, climate-controlled venue and tickets will not be required. The link to view the livestream will be accessible approximately 30 minutes before the ceremony and will be listed on the MU Commencement webpage.

Tickets

  • Tickets are required for guests to attend the in-person ceremony in Pucillo Gym.
  • Each graduate will be allotted 4 guest tickets, and all guests over the age of three years old who enter the gymnasium will need to present a ticket.
  • Graduates do not need a ticket.
  • Guest tickets cannot be duplicated as each ticket has a unique code on them that will be scanned at the door of the gymnasium. For this reason, lost tickets cannot be replaced. Any attempt to duplicate tickets will NOT be allowed entrance into the gymnasium.
