Barbara Havercamp is the new director of Adult and Continuing Education at Millersville University.
She has worked for Millersville since the fall of 2003, serving as the administrative manager for the College of Education and Human Services. In that position, Havercamp oversaw budgets for the college, served as team leader for the administrative support staff and worked on course and faculty schedules.
As the new director, she has responsibility for off-campus, winter and summer courses and oversees the processes related to courses that are offered via continuing education. Havercamp shared one of her goals for this fall, saying, “One of my main goals is to make sure that students and faculty in our off-campus classes feel fully supported and have positive experiences and to establish connections with the staff at those sites.”
In her free time, Havercamp enjoys reading mystery novels and playing frisbee with Bandit, her Australian cattle dog.
