By the Numbers: Meet the Class of 2025

As the fall 2021 semester approaches, it’s time to meet the incoming class of 2025 at Millersville University. Who are they, where are they from and what brings them to the ‘Ville? Here’s a closer look at Millersville’s first year class.  

HOW MANY NEW STUDENTS ARE THERE? 

Of the 7,271 applications we received – the highest number of applications MU has received in over 10 years – and the 5,861 admitted student, there are 1,338 confirmed first year students who will be attending the ‘Ville this fall.  

WHAT ARE THEIR GRADES LIKE? 

As per usual, this year’s ‘Ville first year students are a bright bunch. Their combined average GPA is an impressive 3.49. 

WHERE ARE THEY FROM?  

MU students come from all over. Of the 1,338 confirmed first year students, 137 are from out of state. Here are some of the states they’re coming from to attend the ‘Ville:

WHAT ARE THEY STUDYING?  

The most common majors for incoming MU students are biology, elementary education, special education, exploratory and accounting/finance.
