Millersville University Distributes CARES Relief

Millersville University was given $2,808,651 to support students in need.

The CARES Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund-IHE/Student Aid gives funding to institutions in order to provide emergency financial assistance to students whose lives have been disrupted by the coronavirus, many of whom are facing financial challenges and struggling to make ends meet.

Millersville University was given $2,808,651 to support students in need and the Office of Financial Aid has established the CARES Relief Fund application for students to apply. These funds are intended for eligible students who were impacted by the disruption of campus operations during the spring semester. These funds are available to assist students with educational costs such as food, housing, course materials, technology expenses, health care, and childcare during these uncertain times.

The application is available to students starting Monday, May 4th and students will be notified via their Millersville email account when the application is open. Students will be able to apply directly from Millersville’s website by logging in with their Millersville ID and password.
