Many people confuse emotional health and mental health as being the same thing. While they are two different things, they are closely intertwined. It is extremely important to raise awareness about mental health, support those around you who are suffering from a mental health problem and to seek help if you are suffering from any form of mental illness or mental health problem. This is the focus of Mental Health Awareness Week at Millersville University, which is happening this week. The week’s events are sponsored by The Elsie S. Shenk Center for Health Education & Promotion and will take place at various venues on campus.

Events include a “glowing Through the Darkness run” tonight, April 25 and “Don’t Get It Twisted” a celebration of National Pretzel Day on Friday in Jefferson Hall.
