Millersville University’s (MU) Council of Trustees (COT) will include some new faces soon. The three new members were appointed by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf on Oct. 17 after being nominated on Sept. 21 and approved by the State Senate.
The three new members are Brandon Danz, Kathryn Ross and Holly Trego.
All three members reside in the local Lancaster area. The COT term is six years – Danz, Ross and Trego will serve MU through Oct. 17, 2024. The three new members replace Kevin Harley, Gibson Armstrong and James Argires respectively, who have served on the COT since 2012.
MU’s COT plays a strong role on campus. The council is responsible for approving the University budget as well as any new academic programs, among others things as outlined in Act 188 of 1982.
The council holds quarterly public meetings on campus. The full schedule of meetings can be found at the Council of Trustees page.
