A special exhibit of multidisciplinary arts titled, “Life as We Know It,” is now open at the Eckert Art Gallery. The exhibit will be celebrated with a reception on Oct. 25 from 5:30-7 p.m. A highlight of the event will be a gallery talk with the curators of the exhibit, Penny Duff and Michael Slaboch, at 6 p.m. A free performance featuring the band 75 Dollar Bill will follow at 7 p.m.
“Life as We Know It” will be on display in the Eckert Art Gallery until Dec. 16. The exhibit will provide opportunities for visitors to explore Duff’s notion of, “the everyday as site, medium, and muse,” and leave with a magazine featuring artwork, recipes, poetry and more.
The gallery is free and open to the public from 11 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as well as 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. If you have any questions please contact Eckert Art Gallery Director, Heidi Leitzke, at heidi.leitzke@millersville.edu.
