The Millersville Community-University Parade will pay tribute to Gulf War/Operation Desert Shield Veterans on Saturday, October 13, 2018, during the annual parade in the Borough of Millersville. Each year the parade salutes our military in various themes. For 2018, Gulf War veterans are cordially invited to ride and/or walk in the two-mile parade. A limited number of 200 seats are available on several buses/trolleys that will be featured in the line-up in the Special Honor First Division of the parade. The three-hour parade attracts almost 20,000 spectators and participants annually.
Gulf War veterans may register by going online and completing the registration form, by October 1 @ https://tinyurl.com/gulfwarveterans-parade-2018 or by calling the Millersville University Advancement Office @ 717-871-7500. NOTE: Gulf War veterans who will be participating in the Millersville Community-University Parade will meet at the St. Philip Catholic Church parking lot (2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA) by 7:30 a.m., Saturday, October 13 and buses will then proceed to Penn Manor High School line-up area. Additional details will be forwarded after registration received at Millersville University; approx. return time to parking area: 10 a.m.
