MU Student Elected to National Board

Briana Spears was elected the national board of the Public Relations Student Society of America.

Briana Spears, a junior studying Speech Communication with a concentration in Public Relations at Millersville was recently elected the Vice President of Digital Communication on the National Board of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

Originally from Harrisburg, Pa, Spears transferred to Millersville University her sophomore year after attending Harrisburg Area Community College. She quickly joined MU’s chapter of PRSSA and moved up through the ranks. She now serves as Chapter President.

Spears has been quite active with PRSSA and attended the 2016 national conference in Indianapolis, the 2017 conference in Boston and was a Chapter Delegate at the 2017 National Assembly in Seattle, the 2017 Leadership Rally in Scottsdale, Arizona and the 2018 National Assembly in Miami. At the Assembly in Miami, Spears was elected by her peers to the national board of PRSSA.

“I am humbled and honored to serve in this position,” says Spears.
